What We Collect

We only collect the information necessary to provide the Shift-N-Twist experience — your account and profile details, ride and vehicle information, and, where you choose to provide it, your emergency contacts and medical information. We do not collect data beyond what these features actually require.

We Do Not Share Your Data

Your personal information is not sold or shared with third parties. It exists to power the features of the app — connecting you with other riders, alerting your contacts in an emergency, and keeping your ride history — not to be handed off to advertisers or outside companies.

Medical Information Is Encrypted at Rest

If you choose to store medical information for use in an emergency, that data is encrypted at rest in our database. It is never stored as plain, readable text on our servers.

De-Identified Data for Research

We may use de-identified, aggregated data — information that has had personally identifying details removed and is combined across many riders — for research and to improve rider safety. This aggregated data cannot be used to identify you individually.

Law Enforcement Requests

We disclose user information to law enforcement only when required to do so by a valid court order.
